Hair care starts before there is much hair. A newborn gets brushed with soft bristles, and a few years later the same child is at the door with flyaways and no patience for having them fixed.

They pack into a drawstring cotton pouch printed with squirrels and leaves, which is what keeps them together in a changing bag. T is for Tame makes the Taming Hair cream and the Taming Hair Wand in the USA, both with jojoba and coconut oil, and neither meant to leave hair sticky, stiff or greasy. The cream is 3.38 fl oz. The wand is 0.51 fl oz and squeezes onto a brush applicator.

This is a small collection, three pieces from two makers. For a new baby, the Miniland set is the one to buy as a shower gift, and the soft bristle brush is the piece that gets used first. For an older child, start with the cream, and add the wand if flyaways are the actual problem.
