Two knitted gingerbread bears come in this ornament set, 5 inches tall each, with a yarn loop stitched at the head so the pair can hang apart or together. One wears a green holly leaf beside an ear and the other a green bow at the throat, and that is the only thing telling them apart.
Both are worked in a warm brown with white cuffs at the wrists and ankles, three white bobbles down the front for buttons, a red nose and a mouth stitched in black. Melange Collection makes them in Peru from 35 percent alpaca, 15 percent wool and 50 percent acrylic, filled with polyester, handmade and fairly traded. They ship as a pair. That settles it if two children are choosing at the same time, and like the other Melange Collection ornaments they are spot clean.
