A solar panel in the copper lid charges this narwhal night light by day, and the LED behind it lights the inside of the mason jar after dark. The jar stands 5.5 inches tall by 3 inches across, and the rechargeable AAA battery it runs on ships with it.
The narwhal is wooden and hand painted in sage green, with a gold glitter tusk, a closed eye and plum spots along one side, resting on a slate gray disc above a band of turquoise felt. A strip of teal paper crosses behind it at the waterline, and white dots above and below it stand in for bubbles.
Tree by Kerri Lee built these in the USA. All three mason jar night lights the store carries are put together the same way, so the choice comes down to the animal and the lid: copper here, brass on the dinosaur, pink on the unicorn.
