Otter Ornament Set

Three knitted otter ornaments lie on their backs the way an otter floats, each one 4.25 inches wide and 2.25 inches high, and they are sold as a set. One holds a red and white candy cane, one a crocheted yellow star, and one a red cloth bag gathered at the neck with a drawstring.

Each hangs from a cord matched to what it is carrying: brown for the candy cane, yellow for the star, red for the bag. The bodies are dark brown, the heads a paler tan, and the faces are stitched in black over a brown muzzle.

Melange Collection knits them in Peru from 35 percent alpaca, 15 percent wool and 50 percent acrylic over a polyester filling, all of it handmade and fairly traded. Spot clean only. Three in a set is enough to give one away and still keep a pair.
