Poppie Toys makes this hanging egg chair for dolls in Indonesia, woven from rattan, 8 by 10 by 16 inches and sized for a doll up to 15 inches tall. The cord is attached at the top, so it hangs from a peg rail, a hook or a curtain rod as it is.
The frame is bent rattan with a slatted back and a round opening cut into the lower front, bound with wrapping at the joints and left unpainted. This is doll furniture rather than a seat for a child. It gives a doll somewhere to sit off the floor, at the height of whatever else is hung on the wall.
